First letter from the MTC

I LOVE IT HERE AT THE MTC!!!!!! It's fantastic.

SO GUESS WHAT!!!!! Aaron Snyder was my teacher for my workshop yesterday morning! He was great. We learn about how to identify where an investigator is along their path to Christ. You do that by identifying what they know, what they feel, and what they do. It's been quite effective building lessons off that basis.  It also helps to learn to from people that I already know and trust. My capacity for growth increases exponentially because I already know where they are coming from

GUESS WHAT AGAIN!!!! Julia Itri is one of my Zone teachers! it was kind of weird not to hug her. But I can tell you I've never seen her happier than when she's teaching the missionaries the doctrine of Christ.

I've never been happier than I have been these last few days. I know for a fact that this is the place where I am supposed to be. I have felt of my Savior's love for me and for the teachers and the other missionaries and you guys. My heart overflows with emotion when I think of it. I never understood what people meant by the fact that He has a PERFECT love for us. In fact I never got why He loved us at all. But I realize now that it's because he knows us better than we know ourselves. I love you guys because I know so much about you and we've had many experiences together. Christ has an even more perfect love because he can empathize with us for our entire lives, much less what we are going through right now. It's a beautiful thing, the Atonement. I thought I already had an appreciation for it and Him before because of the things I wa able to over come with his help, but how full is my joy know that I can feel his love for me, and you.

Being set apart as a missionary rules.  I've already had the experience yesterday while we were assigned to teach our companions, to ask him a question while I was preparing that I knew was not my own thinking. It was something that God wanted Elder Schmidt to know, and it was something that only I would have been able to teach him. That's when I really learned that it was God who has put these companionships together and not men just seeing two names and saying, "those names would be good for the title of a talk show!" Elder Schmidt then turned around and did the exact same thing to me. taught me something that I needed to hear that only he could've taught me. I love him already. He's fantastic. I have no prroblems with him what so ever. He's a little bit shorter, and but he's a cross country runner and a life guard and a singer. boy does he love to sing. I told him that if he wants to join the MTC Choir that I would support him that. He REALLY wants to join. ha ha

I love you all. I'll send pictures soon, I just have to get my camera out of my back pack first, but that's in my class room and I'm doing laundry right now.
